When
it was founded in 1996, AQE focused
primarily on assisting colleges and universities. Since then, we have
expanded our client base to include a broad range of businesses, including
large corporations, government agencies, community organizations, national
non-profit organizations, and faith-based institutions.
AQE's
mission is to improve the health, educational, and economic status of
underserved people by promoting the success of organizations and communities
that serve them. The socioeconomic disparities between underserved and
most other communities, in the U.S. and abroad, continue to grow. Deteriorating
education environments and institutions, poor quality healthcare, lack
of employable skills, industry shifts, company relocation, crime, and
substance abuse have taken their toll on urban and rural communities.
Our deep concern for these issues motivates us to provide services that
address and eradicate the inequities inherent in these conditions.
